Article by: Christine Subratie Rams first cross country was this past Saturday in Espanola. They had a good showing against all the big schools. Cimarron was the only 1A school there, and the rest were 3A and bigger. Cimarron has won the Sportsmanship Award for the second year in a row at this meet. Only one of our runners earned a medal. Matt Dean placed in 28th place in the Varsity Race. Although, the Lady Rams didn't have a team, the three ladies we did have did quite well against the big schools. Overall, everyone did great for their first meet.
