This weekend , the Rams played Des Moines in Des Moines. They were half and half, with the boys winning and the girls losing. "The girls played hard, our defense just wasn't ready for them. They only had a few girls score , so if we can guard them well, I think we'll be able to beat them. It is important that we beat them, since they are one of our district teams." said Coach Ashley Gonzales. "Our boys played well. I came into this game not expecting Des Moines to not play well, but they have improved. We had to up our game, and our boys did." said Coach Daniel Vigil.

This week, the Boys Varsity came out with three wins and the Girls Varsity came out with 1 win. "The girls played two really tough teams; Clayton and Antonito. They both are one of the best in their divisions. Our girls held their own for the first half, but just got too tired and into foul trouble. I'm really proud of them. Against the School of the Deaf, our less experienced girls got to play a lot." said Coach Ashley Gonzales. "Our boys finally beat the Clayton boys, and they also beat School of the Deaf and Antonito. Against Antonito, all of the young boys got to play and scored." said Coach Daniel Vigil.
