The Rams had good showing at the cross country meet this past weekend in Pecos. One of the boys got a ribbon, and everybody was pretty close together as a team. "They all have improved their times and I am very proud of them. The middle school is also doing a great job. It was nice to compete against a few small schools. There were a few schools that are in our district, so it was nice to see how we are doing against those schools." This past weekend, the Rams were supposed to have a meet in Cimarron, but the meet was cancelled. They entered last-minute into a meet in Santa Fe at Desert Academy. Fortunately, they ran really well . "We all improved our times, and a lot of kids ran their Personal Record. Mora and Maxwell were there, and it is right before districts, so we got to see how we hopefully will do against them next week. I'm really proud of the kids and how far they have come this. They have really worked hard for this moment," Coach Ashley Gonzales. The Rams will be running in Raton at the golf course this Friday.

Everyone improved by over a minute on a good course. A lot of teams in our district were there and so we got to see how we did against them. We're starting to look pretty good. We're looking forward to the Jamboree down in Rio Rancho. That is the State Course, so we'll see how we do and we'll work from there. Sadly, this was our last week with the middle school kids. We will really miss them.", said Coach Ashley Gonzales. Next weekend the Rams will be in Rio Rancho at the Rio Rancho Jamboree. Article By: Christine Subratie

This past weekend, the Lady Rams Volleyball game was delayed due to weather conditions. In Moreno Valley, that Monday it snowed all day and in some places they had up to 6 inches stick. Due to it being warmer than usual, the snow melted on the roads and then cause icy conditions. This caused the Volleyball game to be cancelled. The Rams ran at Cochiti Pueblo this weekend. The women had a little excitement and got late to the races due to road delays. The women ran JV. "The boys did well against a lot well-trained runners and on a very difficult course. We only had two ladies this weekend, so we were just looking for time. One of my ladies got a ribbon in her race. The middle school kids also did really well. The middle school boys were all up in the front and one of my boys got second in his race. The middle school girls did really good and improved a little since last weekend. My high school team is ready for Districts and we are really working hard to do well at Districts in order to go to State." The Rams will be running at San Ildefonso Pueblo this next weekend.
