This year, Track and Field districts was held at Cimarron. The girls and boys both won districts by a large amount of points. No one was able to catch them. Many of the athletes qualified for events to run at State. "I'm really proud of how far they have come over the course of this season. We won't be able to take everyone to State, but I'm proud of all of them and can't wait until they come back next year. It was a fun season and for some athletes, it's not over yet." said Coach Jeremy Ricklefs. Individual Qualifiers: Girls: Reina Arguello Ariana Gasparlin Veronica Farmer Angel Gonzales Zoe Salazar Analiese Malaney Boys: Noah McDonald Dylan Freidt Jesse Dorman Mathew Dean Steven Mulkey Hunter Whitten Jonathan Gonzalez Lee Kenneke Meanwhile, the baseball team played in Penasco. They continue to carry on their winning streak. "We played well against a team that wasn't that bad. We're starting to get close to the end of the season and we have a good chance of making it to State for the first time in a long time. This one of Cimarron's first winning seasons in years and they boys are willing to give it everything they've got to make it to State." said Coach Alex Martinez.
