This weekend, the Rams went to Cleveland High School in Rio Rancho and competed at the State level. In their division, they competed against 1A-3A schools. They scored an 82 average overall and scored better than anyone in their division by 3 points. They also beat the top 4A school and many 5A and 6A schools. "We heard the bands before us, and we thought they were really good. We realized that we had to bring our A game in order to win this competition, and we did. They played phenomenally and I'm proud of them. We are going to lose seven seniors this year, which will take a heavy toll on us, but we should be getting quite a few eighth graders next year. I am proud of how far my band has come and I can't wait until next year." said Band Director Pamela Towry.
